An ex-special forces operative takes a job to provide security for a journalist as she interviews a dictator, but when a military coup breaks out in the middle of the interview, they are forced to escape into the jungle.

The film unravels the relationship between a father, who doesn’t know cycling and his son who is keen in learning cycling set in Katheri village in a summer of 1980s.

Amudha, a village girl visiting Chennai for the first time, falls in love with Gautham, a stranger, who shows her around the city. Kathiresan, a metal worker, is infatuated by Manimegalai, a nurse.

Arumugam lands in the city to protest to a minister about water pollution in his village. Here, he gets involved in a battle against corrupt politicians and rowdies, who leave him practically dead.

Aathi and Meera fall in love after the usual playful tiffs. On a visit to a friend’s village for his marriage, the two of them help the friend marry his sweetheart instead of the bride. After many conflicts, Aathi and Meera are together.
