Indian version of Depardieu’s “Green Card”.

Jeevan’s father helps Annachi after she is cheated by his brother. He soon becomes the object of affection of Annachi’s daughter, but he turns her down to pursue other goals in life.

Childhood friends Venu and Anu are separated when Anu’s father is transferred to another town. They promise to meet each year at a temple on a hill, but they only meet after ten years as grownups.
