Maayanadhi revolves around the relationship between a father and his daughter and his struggles to help her achieve her dream of becoming a doctor. Their peaceful relation falls off when the daughter is in love with an auto driver.

Two parallel stories – one with an old man looking for his long lost love and the other about an elder sister seeking revenge against those responsible for the death of her sibling.
